AutoTune Valves – Automated selection of ICPMS Tuning Solutions

The AutoTune family of valves provides selection of tuning solutions, rinses, and carrier solutions for fully automated ICPMS tuning and analysis

AutoTune Highlights

• Allows multiple solutions to be automatically selected when specific events such as startup, instrument tuning, detector setup, or routine analysis are initiated
• Solutions stay sealed in their individual bottles with dedicated uptake probes – no manual handling required to select appropriate solution needed
• Automatic delivery of carrier solution when a FAST or prepFAST system is being used for high throughput sample analysis
• Also supports special rinse solutions that might be required when high analyte concentrations are introduced into the ICPMS
• Specific systems currently available for complete integration to Agilent, PerkinElmer, and Thermo Scientific ICPMS systems

How it Works

• When a specific startup, auto-tune, and analysis process is initiated, the AutoTune Valve automatically selects the appropriate solution as defined in the instrument software
• Position of the AutoSelect valve is confirmed on the integrated LED display
• Optional rinse (or additional tune solutions) selection is also provided
• Automatically provides carrier solution when utilizing a FAST or prepFAST high throughput system

TuneSelect

• Automated selection valve for Agilent ICPMS systems
• Provides selection of up to 6 solutions
• Includes tray, rack, bottles, and sampling probes

SmartTuner

• Automated selection valve for PerkinElmer 1000/2000/5000 ICPMS systems
• Provides selection of up to 4 solutions
• Includes tray, bottles, and sampling probes
